The Drake tribe was upset when Balboa, a baby snake Rupert found, was found dead. A local pelican came to the Morgan camp against Osten's wishes. Morgan nicknamed the pelican "Pelican Pete". Osten feared the pelican and threatened it with a machete, amusing his tribemates. After Rupert suggested that they raise the floor of the Drake shelter, the Drake tribe got to work. Jon and Sandra were annoyed at Shawn due to his complaining.
